Must be well versed in the safe operation of all common shop tools, proficient in measurement and able to produce at a measurable rate.\n\nPrevious crating/pallet or case experience is not necessary, however _*experience in basic woodworking or any form of fabrication is required.*_\n\n*Key Responsibilities:*\n\n_*Building*_\n\n-Main focus of the position is building plywood crates and ATA cases.\n\n-Layout, cut out, routing, assembly, interior finishing and more.\n\n-Defer to Department lead or Shop Manager if there are unclear job plans/design\n\n-Commonly used tools include chop saw, panel saw, pneumatic tools, adhesive/paint spray guns.\n\n_*Workshop Safety and Maintenance:*_\n\n-Maintain a safe and clean workshop environment.\n\n-Ensure compliance with safety standards to protect employees and equipment.\n\n*Qualifications:*\n\n-Wood working experience of some fashion is preferred but not required.\n\n-Aptitude to learn and take on new tasks.\n\n-Excellent communication and team player.\n\n-Knowledge of tools and machinery and how to safely operate.\n\n-Problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality.\n\n-Be able to stand for 8+ hours a day.\n\n-Be able to lift 75lbs frequently as the job requires raw material management.\n\nHow to Apply:\n\nIf you are a motivated and proactive individual looking to make an impact at a small business message us your resume to apply.\n\nJoin our team at Slamhammer Roadcase Co. and be part of a company that values innovation, quality, and teamwork.
