As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias or irregular heartbeats.\nMain Purpose of Role\nAs an Operator I, you’ll work under direct supervision, performing routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes.\nShift\nMonday – Thursday, 3:30PM – 2:00 AM with potential overtime\nWhat You’ll Work On\nEnsure that relevant job documentation for cell operations and functions is accurate and up to date - Troubleshooting skills - Interpersonal skills such as conflict resolution, active participation, active listening, Interpreting, cooperation, and flexibility to allow for a successful self-managed team\nBe able to clearly communicate ideas, problems, and solutions to all levels of manufacturing management in both written and oral form\nPositively represent the company during tours by demonstrating techniques and sharing appropriate information\nPositively represents and supports the company’s policies and procedures\nMaintain a positive attitude when interacting with internal customers and external customers, such as tours\nFollow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices when performing all operations\nParticipate in continuous improvement/quality initiatives to enhance production processes to achieve quality and profitability metrics\nPerform routine/preventative maintenance on applicable equipment to maximize efficiency, minimize accidents to enhance longer life of equipment and tools\nMaintain accurate records to ensure traveler and quality documents are accurate, all parts are traceable, and quality issues can be addressed to assure the quality of all products\nDemonstrates a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing.\nDemonstrates a basic understanding of continuous improvement\nParticipate with the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager in setting and monitoring individual goals and cell performance metrics that continuously seek to improve the quality of operations\nSupport all Divisional initiatives as identified by divisional management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements\nRequired Qualifications\nAbility to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures; understand and follow verbal instructions - Understanding of and ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages\nAbility to prioritize work by determining the sequencing and timing of different jobs based on precedence and importance\nAbility to handle and maneuver small components and parts\nAbility to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrefer 6 months of experience working in a medical or other regulated production environments\nPrevious medical device, manufacturing, or assembly experience is helpful\nHigh school degree or equivalent preferred\nLearn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives: www.abbottbenefits.com\nFollow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
