Real Estate Manager

DescriptionReal Estate ManagerPay Range: $80,000 - $110,000 DOELocation: El Segundo, CA (Remote)Position Overview:We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Real Estate Manager/Analyst to join our Center Development team. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, modeling and recommending optimal properties for new developments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market research, zoning regulations, and demographic analysis to support strategic expansion initiatives.Primary Job Duties:Conduct market research and demographic analysis to identify high-potential locationsPartner with leadership to prioritize target markets and submarketsEvaluate site feasibility based on zoning, site selection criteria, traffic patterns, and accessibility, and competitionPrepare detailed site selection reports, financial modeling and presentations for internal stakeholders while advancing high-priority optionsCollaborate with brokers, developers, and local officials to gather site-specific dataCoordinate site visits and assessments with cross-functional teamsTravel to conduct site visits and property tours across development regionsMaintain a database of potential sites and track status through the selection pipelineSupport property negotiations (TI, term, concessions)Monitor real estate trends and provide insights to inform strategic decisionsOrganizes all documents and materials in designated company software systemsOperates independently on activities relevant to projectsReporting to higher management levels as issues arise and through scheduled reportingOther duties as assignedJob Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Business, or related field2+ years of experience in site selection, real estate, development and/or market analysisStrong analytical skills and proficiency in GIS tools, Excel and mapping softwareExcellent communication and presentation abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesFamiliarity with zoning codes, permitting processes, and local regulationsExperience in retail, hospitality, or commercial real estateKnowledge of real estate financial modeling and lease structuresAssumes complete responsibility for assignments of moderate complexity and continues to aggressively improve skill baseGood interpersonal skills and a cooperative attitudeExcellent oral and written communication skillsProficient in project management and has good organizational skillsStrong attention to detail Creativity and an ability to be proactive in problem solvingOnline research capabilitiesKnowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to travel via air/car, for multi-day business activitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced de novo growth environment Bilingual preferred, but not necessaryAbility to provide a negative TB test resultsAbility to clear FBI & DOJ fingerprintingValid driver's license and auto insuranceA reliable care and be willing to drive daily (as required)Physical Requirements:Typical functions of this role include standing, sitting, and walking a majority of the time. There are occasions when kneeling, stooping, bending, or reaching may be necessary. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. on a regular basis. There may be occasions in which the employee must be able to lift or move up to 40 lbs.
