Operations Associate role The mission of the Operations Associate is to serve our advisors with excellence by processing service requests accurately and in a timely manner. The Operations associate will be a key asset to serving our advisors and enabling our firm to continue its growth path. OneAscent is currently seeking an experienced Operations Associate who will be delegated to a number of advisors as their main contact for service requests. The advisors are located off-site, so communication skills and time management are keys to success in this position. This position also requires a careful attention to detail paired with a strong desire to deliver high-quality customer service for those we serve. Duties And Responsibilities Establish accounts for clients, including account transfers Process transactions (e.g. account updates, wires, journals) Compile and maintain back office records and activities Assist with certain audit functions related to billing and compliance Work closely with advisors in maintaining client accounts Work to streamline procedures to maximize compliance and minimize unnecessary procedures Qualifications Excellent communication and customer service skills Experience in investment management and/or financial advisory services is required Education: Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, economics Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook Detail-oriented, meticulous, accurate, organized, able to set priorities Self-starter, takes initiative Team player, with ability to take specific direction Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment Experience with any of the following software or custodial platforms is a plus: Salesforce, Redtail, Schwab Institutional, Fidelity, Black Diamond, or Orion Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $45,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Ability to Relocate: Birmingham, AL: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
