What matters is your ability to understand complex technical environments and translate technical challenges into practical solutions.What You'll DoEvaluate technical architectures and identify potential security risks, design gaps, and integration challenges.Apply engineering and architectural judgment to system design, implementation, and security decisions.Work across applications, infrastructure, cloud, networks, identity, and emerging AI technologies.Help determine appropriate security controls and practical implementation approaches.Support the evaluation and integration of new technologies, including AI-enabled solutions.Collaborate with engineering, architecture, application development, infrastructure, and security teams.Participate in technical evaluations, proofs of concept, and proofs of value.Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and help drive solutions through implementation.Communicate technical recommendations, tradeoffs, and next steps to stakeholders.Required Qualifications5+ years of professional engineering experience in software, systems, infrastructure, cloud, platform, security, or a related technical discipline.Demonstrated architecture experience, including designing, integrating, or materially improving technical systems.Knowledge of AI technologies, including an understanding of AI-enabled applications, capabilities, and potential security implications.Ability to understand technical dependencies, integrations, and how different enterprise systems interact.Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to explain engineering decisions and implementation tradeoffs.Ability to collaborate across engineering and security teams.Ability to work onsite in Miami four days per week.Preferred QualificationsThe following experience is valuable but not required:Application security, API security, or secure software developmentAWS, Azure, GCP, or cloud architectureIdentity and access management, authentication, and authorizationNetwork engineering and security architectureDevSecOps, CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as codeAI security, generative AI, AI agents, or agentic AIEnterprise architecture and distributed systemsSecurity technology evaluations and implementationExperience supporting large-scale enterprise environmentsWhat Will Separate YouWe are especially interested in engineers who can explain:How was the system designed?
