Discretionary annual bonus based on performance.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nConfigure, commission and test AV systems, including video conferencing, digital signage, sound systems, and control systems.\nConduct site surveys, assist in the development of AV designs, and provide technical support during the project lifecycle.\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues with AV equipment and networking in real-time during field assignments.\nEnsure AV systems meet security requirements and comply with relevant regulations, particularly in classified environments.\nCollaborate with project managers, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.\nProvide end-user training and post-installation support to ensure systems are used as designed.\nMaintain detailed documentation, including installation manuals, system configurations, drawings, and technical reports.\nStay updated on the latest AV technology trends and best practices to enhance system performance, reliability, and overall mission success.\nRequired Qualifications:\nProven experience in AV system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.\nStrong understanding of AV technologies, including video conferencing systems (e.g., Cisco, Poly), digital signage, audio systems, and control systems (e.g., Crestron, Q-sys, Biamp, Extron).\nExperience working in classified environments and following security protocols.\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.\nWillingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time, with travel durations ranging from 1 to 2 weeks.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nActive Secret clearance.\nAVIXA CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D certification.\nFamiliarity with government contracting and DoD-specific AV requirements.\nExperience with secure video conferencing systems (e.g., VTC over classified networks).\nNetworking certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA) are a plus.\nIndustry Manufacturer Certifications (Crestron, Q-sys, Biamp, etc.)\nWork Environment:\nThis position may involve work in secure environments with limited access to external communication devices.
