Continuously improve skills and explore innovative tools to enhance development practices.\nEnsure applications are optimized for various platforms, devices, and operating systems, focusing on mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.\nTrack code changes, collaborate with team members, and manage version control to maintain codebase integrity.\n\nRequired Education, Experience, & Skills\n\nFrontend: 5+ years with React (JavaScript/TypeScript), HTML5, CSS3 - component design, state management, responsive UI, and accessibility (WCAG 2.1/Section 508).\nBackend: 3-5 years with Node.js (or equivalent .NET/Java) - building RESTful APIs, authentication/authorization, and secure data handling.\nDatabase: Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2017 (T‑SQL, performance tuning, migrations, backups).\nWeb server & CDN: Hands‑on with IIS 7+ and Akamai CDN configuration.\nCloud/Infra: Experience on Azure - App Service, Azure Functions, ARM/Terraform, and Azure DevOps pipelines.\nVersion control & CI/CD: Proficient with Git (CLI) and pipeline design using Azure DevOps (or GitLab CI).\nSecurity fundamentals: Secure coding practices, authentication/authorization, data encryption.\n508 / Accessibility: Knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG 2.1; familiarity with accessibility testing (e.g., axe, WAVE).\nAutomated testing: Unit, integration & end‑to‑end testing (Jest, Cypress, Selenium, or similar).\nClearance: Active Top‑Secret clearance.\n\nPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills\n#LI-TO1\nContainerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).\nScripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash) for environment provisioning.\nMonitoring & observability (Azure Monitor, Splunk, New Relic).\nPrior federal‑government web experience (FEMA, DHS, etc.).\nAdditional security certifications (SEC+, CISM, CEH)\nInfrastructure as Code beyond ARM (Terraform, Bicep).\nFamiliarity with the US Web Design System (USWDS) or similar design frameworks.\nAbility to mentor junior staff and lead code review sessions.\n\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680\n\nPlease note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
