All welding services, design, manufacturing, hardware and software development, testing, as well as research and development is conducted here.\n\nJob Location(s)\nChicago, IL (near Midway Airport)\n\nSummary\nThe Mechanical Engineer designs mechanical components and assemblies in a cost effective manner that meets customer specifications and necessary product performance for automated welding equipment and Additive Manufacturing Systems. This job description indicates the general nature and level of the work that is expected. It is not a comprehensive or all-inclusive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities. Other duties may be required.\n\nWork Environment\nResponsibilities associated with this position are typically performed in an office setting or designated administrative area and requires occasional visits to customer facilities, vendor facilities and trade shows/conferences. Frequent movement through industrial or manufacturing areas is required along with the use of appropriate personal protective wear and consistent observance of established safety policies at all times.
