The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a safe work environment. This role requires strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, workers' compensation law, and occupational health standards. The EHS Technician will play a critical role in training and development initiatives, report writing, root cause analysis, and emergency response procedures such as first aid and CPR.\nResponsibilities\nConduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards within the manufacturing facility.\nDevelop and implement safety policies in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and workers' compensation law requirements.\nProvide first aid and CPR training to employees; respond effectively to workplace emergencies.\nInvestigate incidents and accidents through root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.\nMaintain accurate report writing related to safety inspections, incident reports, and compliance documentation.\nFacilitate training & development programs focused on occupational health, safety procedures, and environmental regulations.\nEnsure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with EPA standards.\nMonitor workplace conditions to ensure adherence to OSHA standards and occupational health guidelines.\nCollaborate with management to develop corrective action plans for safety improvements.\nExperience\nProven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on environmental health and safety practices.\nKnowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, workers' compensation law, and occupational health protocols.\nExperience in report writing, root cause analysis, and incident investigation is highly desirable.\nCertification in first aid and CPR is preferred; relevant training or experience in workers' compensation law is a plus.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to conduct training sessions effectively.\nPrior experience with EHS training & development programs is advantageous.
