This role will prepare and analyze samples submitted from both, university, and industrial users. The employee will train, supervise, and assist the users of the Scanning Electron Microscope.\n\nAdditionally, this role will assist in office duties including but not limited to support in grant writing, responsibilities related to the ICenter budget, creating webpages, and assisting the Director of the Instrumentation Center in day-to-day operations.\n\n*Minimum Qualifications:*\n\n• Minimum two (2) years’ experience either (a) working with a Scanning Electron Microscope or other scientific instruments or (b) working in science education\n• Bachelor’s degree\n• Experience with Excel, QuickBooks or other accounting software.\n• Experience working with various age groups and abilities.\n• Proficient in MS Office, including Power Point.\n\n*Preferred Qualifications:*\n\n• Master’s degree preferred\n• Minimum one (1) year experience in running and organizing an outreach program or group organization preferred.\n\n*Conditions of Employment:*\n\nTo promote the highest levels of health and well-being, the University of Toledo campuses are tobacco-free.
