TECHNICIAN","description":"Description:\nPrimary Responsibilities\nSafety\nKeep safety at the forefront through compliance, training, identifying potential hazards, reporting incidents, knowing emergency response procedures and actively participating in safety initiatives.\nMaintain all interior and exterior work areas in accordance with SQF compliance and safety policy and procedures, including maintaining the Master Sanitation Schedule to SDSP standards.\nWork with the safety department and SQF management to comply with employee, product safety, and environmental compliance program standards.\nMaintain standards above minimum compliance with all governing laws and regulations.\nPeople\nUnderstand and comply with facility policies and procedures to ensure all facility or company objectives and goals are achieved.\nProfessionally interact and clearly communicate with all facility team members and departments.\nEngage as a team member, actively completing daily tasks and additional duties.\nDevelop strong relationships with all internal departments.\nProduction\nResponsible for operating and making necessary adjustments for all designated areas of the facility on a routine basis to maintain safe and efficient operations.\nGather and test various process samples, interpret and document results, make necessary adjustments to target key metrics across facility.\nParticipate in light, routine maintenance activities and inspections.\nIdentify and troubleshoot equipment and process challenges.\nWork alongside other team members to preserve a safe and clean work environment.\nSeek out and communicate any safety or mechanical issues.\nCommunicate and Collaborate\nNotify supervisor of any observed safety, environmental, quality, or production opportunities.\nCommunicate with oncoming crew of all happenings, findings, or concerns that took place during shift.\nDocument operational challenges or main occurrences through shift notes.\nPerform duties outside normal responsibilities as needed to support the team and organizational goals.\nRequirements:\nBasic Qualifications\nHighschool diploma or equivalent\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nBasic computer skills including entering data into a spreadsheet and utilizing email\nMaintain a safe, positive work attitude and demonstrate willingness to be a team member\nDependable, self-motivated, and able to work well with others\nExperience in a processing facility is preferred\nPhysical Requirements\nMust Possess the Ability to Do the Following Frequently:\nBend, squat, and kneel\nSit, stand, and walk\nPush/Pull/Carry/Lift 25- 50lbs.\nUse fine finger movements\nReach above shoulder level\nClimb ladders and stairs\nWork Environment\nWork on & around high structures\nExposed to excessive noise\nExposed to dust\nWorks around moving machinery\nDrives motorized equipment\nOccasionally exposed to fumes\nExposed to temperature changes\nWork in confined spaces\nIndoor and outdoor
