Job Summary:
Provides oversight to develop a safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally friendly Blue Ammonia facility. Responsible for rotating equipment reliability as it relates to the new operating site, while duplicating the performance and enhancing workflows of the reference plant in Donaldsonville. Work should be completed independently utilizing internal and external resources to provide solutions meeting project requirements.

II. Major Responsibilities :
Serve as a technical resource for rotating equipment
Travel globally as required to support rotating equipment fabrication surveillance, monitoring, and inspection
Review work execution efforts of craft personnel and make recommendations for work execution practices to the Rotating Equipment Lead
Review and comment on detailed design documentation to ensure equipment is designed to applicable codes, industry best practices and CF standards
Participate in 3D model reviews to ensure constructability and maintainability of rotating equipment
Lead spare parts/BOM stock review effort and submit inventory recommendations to project management for approval
Design machinery Preventive Maintenance program for rotating equipment and incorporated into CMMS
Develop a criticality-based Quality Control and Quality Assurance program for work performed on rotating equipment.
Develop the future sites lubrication program and incorporate into CMMS.
Assist in the development of a route-based condition monitoring program specifically responsible for rotating equipment route development.
Maintain open and ongoing communication with supervision on status and progress of assigned work.
Support the departments responsibility for maintaining up to date documentation
Maintain a professional working relationship with all departments
Participate in operability, PHA, and LOPA studies as requested
Assist in overseeing rotating equipment erection activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and API 686 (Recommended Practice for Machinery Installation and Installation Design)
Continually evaluate ways to improve site safety

IV. Incumbent Attributes:
Years of experience : 8+ years experience with large scale rotating equipment at CF, a comparable chemical manufacturing company or an appropriate engineering and technology services provider or 3 years experience with a Mechanical Engineering degree
Certifications, licenses, and Mechanical Engineering degrees are preferred but not mandatory with commensurate experience.
Familiarity with rotating equipment codes such as but not limited to API 610, 611, 612, 613, 614, 617, 670, 671, and 692
Familiarity with project execution using API 686 guidelines
Previous project experience installing and commissioning rotating equipment
Comprehensive knowledge of equipment alignment and maintenance practices
Ability and willingness to collect field data, enter process equipment for inspections, and otherwise work in an operating chemical facility environment
Ability and willingness to work alternative shifts/schedules to support 24 hour/7 days per week during process unit erection, commissioning, startups, shutdowns, upsets, equipment inspections, and turnarounds.
Knowledge of industrial codes and standards (API, ASME, ANSI, OSHA, State)
Willingness to relocate nearby the project site and travel globally as needed (Driving distance)
Must be able to acquire Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC)
Ability to prove drug and alcohol free at random or for cause
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) required. Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with personnel of all backgrounds.
Work involves climbing ladders, stairs and use of safety harnesses. Additionally, working out of man lifts or man baskets is required.
Ability to work under minimum supervision and be self-motivated to the highest level possible.
