Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

This role works hands‑on with the shop floor to ensure new products are launched safely, on time, and at target cost and quality.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fieldExperience: 3 years of Manufacturing Engineering or related hands-on manufacturing experience. Involvement in tooling/fixturing design or fab and weld is a plus.Travel: Up to 25%Work Schedule: This is a hybrid work schedule. Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. Works a sufficient schedule to meet the expectations of the role.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESNew Product Tooling & Process DevelopmentDesign and develop manufacturing tooling, fixtures, jigs, weld fixtures, and aids to support new product launchesCollaborate with Design Engineering to provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) feedbackSupport prototype, pilot, and production builds; identify and resolve manufacturing issuesEquipment Acquisition & InstallationSpecify, justify, and support the purchase of new manufacturing equipment and toolingCoordinate equipment installation, commissioning, and validation on the production floorWork with suppliers, integrators, maintenance, and safety teams to ensure proper setup and complianceFabrication & Welding SupportDevelop and document fabrication and weld processes, including weld sequencing, fixturing, and work instructionsSupport weld process qualification and troubleshooting (MIG, TIG, fixtured weldments, etc.)Partner with quality teams on weld inspections, defect reduction, and continuous improvementContinuous Improvement & Production SupportSupport daily production by addressing tooling, equipment, and process-related issuesParticipate in lean and continuous improvement projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, and costAssist with PFMEAs, control plans, and standard work documentationPerforms other related duties as required and assigned.The job description and responsibilities described are intended to provide guidelines for job expectations and the employee's ability to perform the position described.
