Production Supply Planner The Production Supply Planner will perform a variety of tasks with a focus on purchasing material in support of program and factory build plans. The candidate needs to be energetic, willing to learn, able to work in group environment as well as be able to work independently and have the ability and desire to be a change agent. The candidate also must be ready to work in fast paced environment and be prepared to learn logistics/transportation in supporting factory needs. The associated tasks listed below are necessary to prevent a work stoppage or a slip in schedule, both of which would have a significant impact on the factory and/or program's cost and schedule requirements.What You Will DoEvaluate and coordinate material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production/customer requirements.Evaluate material availability, identify potential gaps and proactively working supplied material problems.Solves any potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as neededControl and analysis of multiple and moderate complexity, Bills of Material in an MRP systemProactively work material constraints 90 + days outCoordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineeringCoordinating material movement between warehouse, Labs/production areas, and customersAttend and provide material status at factory Tier meetingsContinuing knowledge of the ERP system; SAP/PRISM and management of MRP Health metricsParticipates in projects and teams to accomplish continuous improvement - COREProvide parts status to OPS/ Program as requested / as requiredQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than two (2) years prior relevant experience.Experience with either Supply Chain, Logistics, and/or Planning or Production Control.The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
