CNC Machine Operator

Our supply chain network now branches across the Pacific and into South America.Job Purpose: Sets-up, operates and checks products to required specifications on all necessary equipment. May perform other duties as assigne Interprets complicated drawings and calculates critical dimensions to determine construction specifications. Create, edit and/or retrieve CNC programs from system files and execute. Set-up and operate machines in accordance with process sheets and any other required paperwork (i.e. drawings, specifications, etc.). Produce and verify quality parts in a safe and efficient manner to required specifications. Monitor and make the correct process changes for maximizing efficiency of process. Identify and troubleshoot process concerns and recommend improvements to the process when needed. Keep work area clean and orderly. Identify set-up reduction opportunities and Lean process opportunities and communicate to supervision. Performs regular safety inspections of equipment to ensure safe operating conditions. Ensures assigned preventative maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner. Cleans equipment and performs general housekeeping tasks, keeping work area clean and organized. May perform other duties as assigned.
