Data Center Technician

Job Title: Data Center TechnicianLocation: Baltimore, Maryland (On-site)Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional to deliver critical operations and maintenance support for a high-profile data center environment. Our team ensures the safety, reliability, and uninterrupted operation of essential data center infrastructure by following industry best practices and company standards.ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain critical and non-critical infrastructure, including equipment and systems within the data center environment.Monitor power, cooling capacity, and environmental conditions, and respond to electrical and mechanical issues to minimize risks.Conduct facility rounds, maintain accurate records using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and support preventive maintenance inspections.Coordinate and oversee outside contractors, ensuring compliance with facility work rules and effective communication in emergencies.Required5-7 years of relevant experience in building operations, engineering, or technical maintenance functions.1-3+ years of experience in mission critical environments is preferred.Possession of electrical or mechanical license is preferred.Basic skills in HVAC, electrical, and fire suppression systems.About SSI People: With over 26 years of industry experience, SSi People has built its reputation and expertise on putting people first.
