We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about helping the business drive insights from data.Within Schwab Data we have started a journey of applying product management principles to how we lead data asset development in our data warehouse, organizing them in subject areas, and treating them as “data products." Make decisions and act in situations in which there is not enough information to be certain of outcome or implications of the decisionProduct Management Managing the complete life cycle of products and services using various methodologies for successful optimizationRequirements ManagementStreamlining requirement analysis, organization, and validation for efficient development and operation throughout the life cycleWritten Communication Expressing oneself clearly in business writingStrategic Thinking Analyzing an organization’s competitive position and developing a clear and compelling vision of what the organization needs for success in the futureWhat you haveRequired QualificationsStrong technical skills, excellent time management, prioritization capabilities and an aptitude for critical thinkingExcellent verbal and written communication skills with a blend of business acumen and technical aptitudeBachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics or similar technical fieldFluent knowledge of Data Warehouse conceptsMinimum 3 years of experience analyzing complex source databasesMinimum 3 years of SQL experience in Data Warehouse environmentMinimum 3 years creating requirements for Data Warehouse data acquisition and curationMinimum 1-3 years of experience working as a Product Owner within Data ManagementMinimum 1-3 years managing data development projectsConstructs processes that streamline and maximize the entire product development life cycleStreamlines requirement analysis and validation for enhanced efficiencyDemonstrated clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitionsSelf-starter who is analytical, organized, and deadline orientedPreferred QualificationsExperience working within the Banking or Brokerage servicesExperience working in Google Big QueryExperience with any/all Business Data Management (BDM) concepts; Data Migration, Data Quality, Data Synchronization, Data Administration, Data Governance and Metadata ManagementEstablishes communication processes for smooth information flow with others involved in a project or effortProvides thought leadership in the business area and independently drives strategic initiativesEnables stakeholders to align decisions with business goalsInfluences best practices to plan to prepare for opportunities or challengesChampions innovative solutions to improve efficiency Influences decisions that drive functional success and operational improvementsVerbally articulates ideas impactfully, fostering open dialogue Inspires confidence with proven expertise, integrity, and accurate communicationLeverages diverse expertise to develop strategies in cross-functional projects or programs Creates clear, persuasive, and professional written documents that meet business standardsIn addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.What’s in it for youAt Schwab, you’re empowered to shape your future.
