If you are looking for your next career move, we want to hear from you!\nBecome part of our dynamic team that’s shaping the future of our industry!\n\nJob Type: Full-Time\nDays/Hours: 1st Shift- 6am-2:30pm M-F; 2nd shift 2:30pm-1am M-TH – OT as required\nLocation: Madison Heights, MI\nEssential Functions of The Job\nMeasure cut and clean raw materials (woods, foam, printed) for the construction of retail signage and décor items.\nOperate CNC multi cam 2 axis router table at production quotas.\nMaintain a clean, safe work area clear of debris.\nPerform all job duties using standard D|Fab safety practices.\nUse time wisely and remain productive.\nOther duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.\nResponsible for following all company policies as stated in the D|Fab employee handbook.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nBasic knowledge of computer operations (to set up cut files) and machinery; CNC experience helpful.\nBasic knowledge of measuring tools such as tape measure, ruler, and meter gauges.\nMechanical aptitude.\nMachine operator experience.\nAbility to read and follow written directions and basic shop drawings.\nHave a general understanding of signage and graphics materials, substrates, and manufacturing processes. We don’t cut metals.\nWillingness to work flexible and overtime hours is required. Some Saturdays are required and OT in excess of 50 hours during months of March-November is required.\nGreat attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.\nStrong comprehension and analytical abilities.\nGood computer and mathematical skills preferred.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to lift 50+ pounds of material on a regular basis.\nThe CNC Operator is responsible for safely loading and unloading raw materials (wood, foam, etc) and digital printed materials\nSome sheets of material are 4’ x 8’ and others are 5’ x 10’. They are not stiff but floppy.
