In this role, you will be responsible for safely loading, unloading, sorting, and moving shipments while ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the distribution process. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy physical work in a fast-paced environment. No previous experience is required paid training is provided.\nKey Responsibilities\nLoad and unload freight from trucks, trailers, and delivery vehicles.\nMove, sort, and organize shipments according to company procedures.\nInspect freight for visible damage and report any discrepancies.\nVerify shipment labels and assist with accurate freight staging.\nSecure loads to ensure safe transportation.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nOperate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as authorized.\nAssist with inventory movement and warehouse organization.\nFollow all company safety policies and operational procedures.\nWork collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet daily productivity goals.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.\nPrevious warehouse or freight handling experience is a plus but not required.\nAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs.\nComfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.\nReliable attendance and strong work ethic.\nAbility to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.\nWillingness to learn and follow established procedures.\nWhy Join Transit Freight System?\nAt Transit Freight System, we are committed to providing reliable freight handling and logistics support while maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
