The individual in this role will manage a team that is dedicated to both developing and refining our toolbox of initiatives that can be used to achieved desired performance and expertly deploying those initiatives to achieve desired results.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nTeam Leadership:\nBuild and lead a high-performing team of professionals dedicated to driving performance for payer programs\nProvide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment\nManage departmental policies and procedures\nConduct performance evaluations, set goals, and implement professional development plans for team members.\nDissect client contracts and understand how to achieve the best business results within the scope of those agreements, diagnose for performance barriers, and develop action plans to meet performance goals\nDefine program goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program effectiveness\nMonitor program performance and regularly assess key metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization\nUnderstand gaps to achieving performance goals and coordinate across the business to fill them\nEnsure performance resources are deployed in a manner that achieves optimal financial outcomes\nSocialize performance concerns across the business\nMaintain detailed tracking on performance against client expectations and detailed tracking on financial performance on all programs\nCoordinate with Finance team to set appropriate performance expectations for budgeting\nInform contract negotiations by coordinating with sales teams on performance feasibility\nKNOWLEDGE & REQUIREMENTS\nSkills and Desirable Qualities\nExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills\nAbility to communicate across all levels of an organization, demonstrating professionalism and good judgment at all times\nMust be able to work autonomously (with minimal direction) while also being part of an integrated team\nStrong organizational and time management skills\nMust be able to manage competing demands and multiple priorities, while maintaining a strong attention to detail\nStrong leadership skills to influence your team, colleagues, and leadership\nTechnical proficiency related to PC and basic office software\nWhat is expected of you and others at this level\nManages department operations and supervises professional employees, front line supervisors and/or business support staff\nParticipates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals\nEnsures employees operate within guidelines\nDecisions have a short term impact on work processes, outcomes and customers\nInteracts with subordinates, peers, customers, and suppliers at various management levels;
