JOB PostingJOB TITLE: Circle of Boating DockhandDEPARTMENT: ManagementREPORTS TO:Circle of Boating ManagerPOSITION PURPOSE:The COB Dockhand may be the first person our guests interact with when arriving to the marina. It is important that they deliver a superior marina experience to all of our guests. COB Dockhands assist the Circle of Boating Manager and other Dockhands in all duties related to the marina. They do so while being friendly, positive, and accommodating. They will also keep the area clean, safe, and wellmaintained.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain accurate dock walk, rent roll, and occupancy reportsRoutinely operates, motor and water vehicles and other various mechanized equipmentAssists the Circle of Boating Manager and other Dockhands in marina related duties such as securing boats to docks, connecting and monitoring utility services (power, water and telephone), black water pump out, waste disposal and facility sanitationEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:1. Ability to work independently to achieve goals and targets2. Ability to organize and prioritize work3. Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team, department and corporate goalsWORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) poundsMust be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergencyMust be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionallyMust be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property to include weekends and holidays as needed.STATEMENT OF PURPOSEThis document provides descriptive information about the above Suntex Marinas position.
