{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"aa928ed1f8127d10a4770905","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/aa928ed1f8127d10a4770905","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/aa928ed1f8127d10a4770905","title":"Compounding Operator - 3rd Shift","description":"Job Title:\nCompounding Operator - 3rd Shift\n\nSummary:\nTo safely and efficiently perform cold mixing and milling utilizing multiple mechanical equipment to mix and mill high consistency silicone rubber to desired customer specifications.\n\nResponsibilities Include:\n\n**This 3rd Shift position will start at $22.80 + $2.00 shift premium pay ($24.80 total starting pay) with Increases at 90 days, 6 months and 1 year**\n\nEssential Job Functions:\n\nEnsure that all safety equipment is readily available and that all guards are in place.\nRefer to batch cards for proper amounts, temperature controls, weights and sequences of additions of raw materials and any other additional instructions, per procedure.\nTo operate multiple types of mixers, mills and extruders and other related equipment when required.\nAs directed, carry out any other tasks of equal or less difficulty.\nMaintain work area in clean and orderly manner, drive Lean 5S Initiative throughout the facility with emphasis during shift transition.\nAbility to work independently and multi-task.\nMust be able to work irregular shifts and overtime to cover production demand as required.\nMust be qualified to wear a respirator.\n\nNon-Essential Functions:\n\nTo keep online production records on every batch mixed.\nTo receive and relay vital verbal communications with co-workers concerning daily production strategies.\nTo become knowledgeable of basic customer requirements and the equipment and materials used in mixing and milling.\n\nQualifications:\n\nThe following are required for the role\n\nPerform arithmetic operations quickly, accurately, and possess eye-hand motor coordination.\nBasic writing skills are required in the completion of daily production records.\nBasic verbal communication skills are required to transfer or interpret the explanation of problems and to receive and understand work assignments.\nMust be able to read and understand written instructions.\nMust be able to stand for a 8.5-hour shift.\nMust be able to read, understand, and speak English\nMust have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.\nMust be able to pass a criminal background and pre-employment drug test that includes marijuana.\n\nWhat We Offer:\n\nThe base salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography.
