The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting and finance within a manufacturing environment and demonstrate a commitment to driving efficiency and process improvements.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nLead and manage the daily operations of the accounting team, including general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.\nPrepare and maintain accurate profit and loss statements and balance sheet reports, providing detailed variance analysis to highlight performance drivers.\nEnsure timely completion and distribution of internal and external financial reports, including monthly statements and annual audit documentation.\nOversee company-wide general ledgers and consolidated financial statement reporting, ensuring compliance with revenue recognition standards.\nAnalyze and interpret accounting transactions and records to prepare comprehensive financial statements.\nCollaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and analysis.\nCoordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring all entries are recorded within established deadlines.\nDrive process improvements within accounting operations, enhancing financial systems and streamlining close procedures.\nDevelop and enforce robust internal controls and operational processes to align with corporate guidelines and ensure efficiency.\nDocument key business processes and accounting policies to support knowledge sharing, cross-training, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nMinimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or controllership roles, preferably within manufacturing environments.\nProven ability to establish and maintain strong financial management controls, including cost accounting practices.\nDemonstrated success in leading process improvement initiatives within accounting operations.\nProficiency in general ledger management and month-end close procedures.\nExperience with financial software systems such as JobBOSS.\nSolid understanding of cost accounting and job costing principles.\nExceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with senior leadership.\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.\nRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
