If you like solving real problems, deploying robots into production, and seeing your ideas come to life, you’ll fit right in.\nDescription\nResponsibilities:\n\nCollaborating with the hardware team to brainstorm and fast-pace prototype new ideas and concepts.\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams including software engineers, electrical engineers, and industrial designers to design the next generation hardware for the Pixmo robot.\nSupporting the assembly, testing, and validation of robotic prototypes and products. Instructing technicians/lab workers to optimize workload.\nAssisting in the analysis and optimization of mechanical designs for performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness.\nParticipating in design reviews and providing feedback on mechanical designs.\nDocumenting design iterations, test results, and project progress.\nInvestigating and troubleshooting issues of the robotics system. Develop and implement targeted solutions as well as documentation to reduce potential failures in future.\nConsistently demonstrate a high level of craftsmanship in all engineering projects, ensuring that every design, part, and assembly is completed to exact specifications.\nSharing your knowledge and skills with your teammates, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and growth.\n\nQualifications:\n\nCurrently pursing or holding a degree in fields such as Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent. 1+ year of industry experience.\nHands-on experience with prototyping tools and shop equipment, including 3D printers, power tools, and hand tools.\nMentality for fast prototyping and testing.\nPrevious experience of mechanical design, drawings (SolidWorks), GD&T, building and integration of robotic platforms.
