We are committed to delivering products that meet or exceed customer expectations while contributing positively to the communities where we live and work.Job DescriptionThe Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for supervising and directing Quality Technicians across 1st and 2nd shifts, ensuring the effective execution of plant quality processes and compliance with enterprise and plant quality standards. This role serves as the frontline quality leader, supporting the Quality Manager by driving daily quality performance, enforcing standards, coaching technicians, and responding to quality issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.The Quality Assurance Supervisor works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to support production while protecting the customer through effective inspection, testing, corrective action, and continuous improvement activities. This position ensures that quality expectations are consistently applied across shifts and that technicians are trained, engaged, and performing to standard.Key responsibilities include:Supervise, direct, and support Quality Technicians on 1st and 2nd shift to ensure consistent execution of quality inspection, testing, and documentation requirementsEnforce adherence to plant and enterprise Quality Systems, standard work, code and compliance requirements, and customer specificationsCoordinate daily quality activities in support of production schedules while maintaining focus on Initial Quality, defect prevention, and non-conformance managementProvide technical guidance, coaching, and feedback to technicians related to inspection methods, test procedures, root cause analysis, and corrective actionsReview and approve quality data, inspection records, and reports for accuracy and completenessLead or support containment, corrective action, and error-proofing activities in collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, and the Quality ManagerLead and participate in continuous improvement activities, including kaizen events, root cause analysis, and standard work development focused on quality, safety, and defect preventionIdentify quality trends, risks, and systemic issues, escalating concerns and supporting sustainable countermeasuresSupport internal audits, layered process audits, and compliance activities as requiredHost, support, and participate in visits from external parties including auditors, suppliers, customers, and certification bodies; provide plant tours and explain quality processes, controls, and product conformance as neededParticipate in training, onboarding, and ongoing development of Quality TechniciansEnsure effective communication and handoff of quality issues between shiftsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered3 to 5 years of experience in quality assurance or manufacturing quality within a production environmentPrior supervisory or lead experience with technicians or hourly associates strongly preferredWorking knowledge of quality systems, inspection and test methods, non-conformance management, and corrective action processesExperience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and quality or regulatory requirementsFamiliarity with Lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement, and basic quality toolsStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesEffective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present information to internal and external stakeholdersDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesProficiency with basic computer applications and quality documentation systemsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.The Quality Assurance Supervisor plays a critical role in reinforcing plant quality culture and ensuring consistent quality execution across shifts while supporting plant, customer, and enterprise quality objectives."The total target compensation for this role is $80,000 - $110,000. All full-time positions come with comprehensive benefits starting on day 1, including medical, dental, vision coverage, 401k, and PTO.
