In this role, you will work directly with patients, families, nurses, anesthesiologists, and orthopedic surgeons to provide support with a small infusion device used for post-operative pain management.\n\nYour time will be divided between local hospital accounts and our office, providing a work environment that is active and varied. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working independently, interacting with people, and having a job where every day isn't exactly the same.\n\nTraining is provided — prior medical or technical experience is not required.\n\nPlease note: This is NOT an IT position.\n\n*What You'll Do*\n\nWorking alongside PACU nurses, anesthesiologists, and orthopedic surgeons, you will be responsible for:\n\n* Providing on-site support for the administration of a small infusion device used for post-operative pain management\n* Demonstrating the device's functions, use, and care to patients and their families\n* Answering basic questions and providing reassurance and support to patients\n* Communicating professionally with hospital staff and healthcare providers\n* Completing required paperwork and maintaining accurate records\n* Following company procedures and patient-care protocols\n* Traveling between assigned local hospital accounts as needed\n* Working independently while maintaining communication with the Lucent Surgical team\n\n*What We're Looking For*\n\nThe ideal candidate is someone who is confident, positive, dependable, and comfortable interacting with a variety of people.\n\nRequirements:\n\n* Confident and professional personality\n* Strong customer service and communication skills\n* Comfortable interacting with doctors, nurses, patients, and families\n* Ability to work independently without constant supervision\n* Comfortable working in a changing environment\n* Reliable transportation and ability to travel between local accounts\n* Ability to follow detailed instructions and company procedures\n* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills\n* Professional appearance and demeanor\n* Hospitality, healthcare, customer service, or similar experience is a plus\n\nNo prior medical experience is required.
