This position plans and directs activities concerned with development, application and maintenance of quality standards by providing technical support, related to corrective actions, process control, statistical analysis, customer complaints, component validation, product measurement and testing, product launch, certification and audits.\n\nIn conjunction with engineering, manufacturing engineering and manufacturing personnel, develops and implements control processes and programs\n\nDevelops quality plans and documentation requirements, including the use of statistically valid sampling methods, to evaluate product at every state of the manufacturing process\n\nCoordinates and prepares First Article Inspection, First Article Testing, PPAP and product launches\n\nIn conjunction with engineering, develops inspection and testing methods, and interprets industry and customer product CTQ requirements\n\nConducts internal and external quality audits in accordance with internal procedures and ISO standards\n\nParticipates in disposition of non-conforming material and performs root cause corrective action (RCCA) analysis\n\nCompiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities\n\nEnsures compliance with internal and external specifications and standards such as work instructions, drawings, ISO standards and Military specifications\n\nAids in the issuance of Corrective Actions both internally and externally\n\nVerifies calibration of equipment in accordance with ISO 9001:2015\n\nSupports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization\n\nAdheres to all quality and safety standards\n\nSupports other projects and performs duties as assigned\n\nEducation/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:\n\nBachelors degree in Engineering or Quality Systems related field\n\n3+ years experience in Quality or Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering related fields\n\nMust be able to speak, read and understand English\n\nKnowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques and documentation\n\nKnowledge of SPC or statistical control\n\nKnowledge of ISO or some form of Quality Management Systems\n\nKnowledge of military specifications is preferred\n\nStrong problem solving and analytical skills\n\nAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines\n\nStrong organizational and time management skills\n\nExperience in ERP systems, SAP desired\n\nPossesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with employees and managers at all levels within the company\n\nDisclaimer:\nThis job description is not designed to be a complete list of all duties and responsibilities required for this role.\n\nThis position requires access to or use of export-controlled technical data or technology controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
