Previous cooking or restaurant experience is preferred; however, the employer is willing to train someone who has a genuine passion for cooking, is eager to learn, and is interested in building a long-term career in the culinary field.\nThis position includes both food preparation and cooking responsibilities. The ideal candidate will work well in a fast-paced environment, take pride in preparing quality food, and contribute positively to the kitchen team.\nSchedule\nWednesday: Food preparation from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM\nThursday–Sunday: 12:00 PM–10:00 PM\nApplicants should ideally be available for the full Wednesday-through-Sunday schedule.\nResponsibilities\nPrepare ingredients and complete food preparation tasks.\nCook and plate menu items according to established recipes and standards.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace.\nFollow food safety and proper food-handling procedures.\nAssist with receiving, storing, and rotating food and supplies.\nWork efficiently during busy meal periods.\nCommunicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members.\nAssist with cleaning, dishes, and closing duties as needed.\nFollow instructions and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.\nJob Requirements\nPrevious cooking, food preparation, or restaurant experience is preferred.\nCandidates without professional experience may be considered if they have a strong interest in cooking and are willing to learn.\nDependable transportation and consistent attendance.\nAbility to work Wednesday through Sunday.\nAbility to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen.\nAbility to lift and carry food, supplies, and kitchen equipment as needed.\nStrong attention to cleanliness, food quality, and safety.\nPositive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.\nInterest in developing culinary skills and growing within the profession.\nPay is $15.10 per hour plus tips.
