Additional responsibilities may vary per actuarial team.\n\nAs an Actuarial Analyst, you will:\n\nDevelop and analyze complex financial and statistical reports related to quality, cost and effectiveness of healthcare services\n\nPrepare budget and forecast and analyze financial results related to expectations\n\nAssist in financial analysis, pricing and risk assessment to estimate outcomes.\n\nApply knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, principles of finance and business to calculate financial outcomes\n\nAssist with developing probability tables based on analysis of statistical data and other pertinent information\n\nAnalyze and evaluate required premium rates\n\nAssess cash reserves and liabilities enable payment of future benefits\n\nAssist with determining the equitable basis for distributing money for insurance benefits\n\nParticipate in merger and acquisition analysis\n\nAdditional responsibilities may vary per actuarial team.\n\nEducation/Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 0-3 years of actuarial experience.\n\nLicense/Certification: Passed one actuarial exam - REQUIRED.\n\nPreferred: Experience with Excel (pivot tables, formulas, indexing, data analysis) and VBA. Experience with SQL, SAS, Python, or R programming.\n\nLocation & Schedule : Applicants for this role have the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the Continental United States. These are remote roles with team-specific scheduling preferences. Additional teams may be added as new opportunities arise.\n\nMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
