As the primary point of contact, you will be responsible for overseeing change management, release and configuration processes, testing, and ITSM tool administration ensuring compliance with policies, operational efficiency, and continuous service improvement.\r\nDay To Day Work Responsibilities:\r\nLead and manage day-to-day IT operations within the Engineering team.\r\nServe as a key liaison between technical teams, Peraton leadership, and stakeholders assuring alignment, transparency, and accountability.\r\nOversee and improve change, release, and configuration management processes to ensure operational continuity and compliance.\r\nDirect and support testing efforts for system and software updates, hardware rollouts, and security patches.\r\nManage service-level agreements (SLAs), proactively addressing risks and ensuring delivery commitments are met.\r\nOversees and report performance metrics, dashboards, and status reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.\r\nDrive long-term planning initiatives, monitor project status, and validate O&M processes and procedures.\r\nIdentify opportunities to streamline operations, improve process efficiency, and reduce risk.\r\nCollaborate across cross-functional teams to strengthen business execution and organizational culture.\r\nAct as deputy to the director and represent the program in high-level meetings when needed.\r\nStay ahead of industry trends and regulations and apply them to continuously enhance IT operations and customer service.\r\nProvide oversight and support for the customer's testing and development environments, ensuring stability, functionality, and alignment with project goals.\r\nServe as a key point of contact for customer interactions related to change management, addressing inquiries and ensuring policy adherence.\r\nIdentify, track, and resolve operational issues and stakeholder conflicts of moderate complexity; escalate unresolved matters to appropriate leadership when necessary.\r\nPartner closely with the management team to ensure all operational, administrative, and compliance-related functions are executed effectively, in accordance with industry best practices and customer standards.\r\nDeliver timely and transparent communication to leadership regarding the status of active workstreams, emerging issues, and risk mitigation strategies.\r\nQualificationsBasic Qualifications:\r\nA minimum of 12 years of experience required.\r\nActive Secret clearance is required to be considered.\r\nMust have the ability to obtain / maintain an EOD clearance.\r\nProven experience in O&M program management.\r\nExperience managing IT engineering teams, IT infrastructure and operations programs.\r\nProven experience leading full lifecycle IT projects (initial concept, planning, implementation and completion).\r\nPossess an ITIL 4 Foundations certification (or the ability to obtain within 30 days of employment).\r\nExperienced with change management initiatives in complex IT environments.\r\nDeep knowledge of release and configuration management best practices.\r\nStrong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) methodologies.\r\nHands-on experience with enterprise tools such as Remedy.\r\nAbility to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.\r\nPreferred Qualifications:\r\nBachelor degree preferred.\r\nPMP Certification.\r\nExceptional verbal and written communication skills.\r\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.\r\nExcellent teamwork skills.\r\nExceptional problem-solving capabilities and use of judgment.\r\nAbility to work effectively in a distributed work environment/self-starter.\r\nPeraton OverviewPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy.
