This role improves product quality, throughput, safety, and reliability while leading process improvements, capital projects, and cross-functional initiatives. The position partners closely with Operations, Maintenance, R&D, and other stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.\n\nWhat you get to do:\nOptimize manufacturing formulations, processes, and equipment to improve quality, consistency, throughput, and safety.\nInvestigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.\nSupport scale-up and commercialization of new coating products.\nLead capital projects, including design, installation, startup, and process optimization.\nCoordinate cross-functional projects and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.\nDevelop, troubleshoot, and improve process controls, automation, and safety interlocks.\nLead process safety initiatives, including Management of Change (MOC), Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR), and compliance with applicable safety standards.\nMaintain process documentation, including P&IDs, PFDs, batch instructions, and maintenance procedures.\nDrive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.\nTrain and support Operations and Maintenance personnel on process improvements and best practices.\nWhat you need to succeed:\nBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.\nExperience in paints and coatings manufacturing.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.\nExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nExperience with PLC or DCS programming.\nExperience in PSM and/or GMP-regulated facilities.\nPMP certification or project management experience.\nLean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated continuous improvement experience.\nWhat’s in it for you:\nExcellent company benefits offered.\nApply now!
