MPM Corporation is a family owned property management company (owner and operator) doing business for over 40 years. MPM is looking for a highly motivated and energetic Residential Property Manager to oversee Conventional properties in Menlo Park. Job Summary The Property Manager is fully accountable for all day to day property operations, overseeing and enhancing the value of multiple multi-family properties. Reports to the Director of Property Management General Accountabilities Demonstrate ability to understand financial goals, operate asset in owners’ best interest in accordance with Policies & Procedures Manual. Direct and coordinate the activities of site level operations, maintenance, administration, and improvement of properties. Plan, schedule, and coordinate general maintenance, major repairs, and remodeling or construction projects. Inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment routinely to determine repair or maintenance needs. Act as a liaison between site staff, tenants, and management. Ensure that all rents and late fees/check charges are collected, posted and deposited in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of all property transactions and submit on timely basis (i.e., rent rolls, delinquency reports, renewals, move-in/move-outs, etc.) Generate necessary legal action, documents and process in accordance with State and Company guidelines. Work with Corporate to utilize marketing strategies to secure prospective residents ensuring property is rented to fullest capacity. Meet with prospective tenants to show properties, explain terms of occupancy, and provide additional information. Ensure that A/P invoices are submitted to the corporate office for payment, handle petty cash and all funds. Investigate complaints, disturbances and violations and resolves problems following management rules and regulations. Job Qualifications Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of related experience Software Experience: Yardi Voyager, Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) Fair Housing certification Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) a Plus Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) a Plus Spanish Speaking is a Plus Experience with Conventional Properties Leasing Experience Managing Maintenance Staff Skills Excellent verbal and written communication Active listening Strong leadership Critical thinking Customer service Negotiation Judgment and decision making Benefits Include: Competitive Salary Based on Experience.
