We uplift and revitalize communities through the success of our students and through inspiring them to uplift our communities now and forever and through the development of educational and other supportive partnerships.The Team Member we are searching forThe ideal Substitute Teacher believes in, and is passionate about the mission and commitments of PUC Schools and exhibits this through their leadership, reflection, execution of school culture, and collaboration to ensure student success. The Substitute Teacher will teach and supervise assigned students with appropriate learning experiences in a credentialed authorized area.What you will need to accomplish:Plan and provide appropriate learning experiences for studentsSupervise students in a variety of school-related settingsAssess, monitor, and evaluate student outcomesCommunicate and interact with students, parents, staff, and communityDevelop, select, and modify instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all studentsProvide an atmosphere and environment conducive to the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of studentsStrive to maintain and improve professional competenceMaintain appropriate records and follows required procedures and practicesMonitor appropriate use and care of equipment, materials, and facilitiesSupport the goals of the district by serving on special committees and other groupsPerform other duties as assignedWhat do we require from you?Minimum QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university requiredMust meet the CA Basic Skills requirements. Requirement can be meet with coursework and/or passing scores on multiple standardized tests (AP, ACT, SAT, CBEST, CSET).
