This person must be a team-player, service oriented, and willing to enthusiastically engage guests.\r\nPosition Functions\r\nUnderstands and upholds Chico's Mission, Employment Guidelines, Policies, Procedures, and Standards of Conduct.\r\nUnderstands and promotes Chico culture by engaging all others with a positive enthusiastic attitude at all times\r\nDaily cleaning of guest rooms and hotel common areas.\r\nIs responsible for laundry services, including operating machines and folding.\r\nDaily re-supply/stocking carts and supply closets.\r\nHas complete knowledge of Chico Hot Springs history and property.\r\nKeeping housekeeping areas and vehicles clean.\r\nIs responsible for reporting to housekeeping office at end of each shift.\r\nFollows Chico's Safety and Sanitation standards.\r\nIs responsible for adhering to dress code and personal hygiene standards.\r\nOther duties as assigned\r\nJob Requirements\r\nAble to reach, bend, stoop, kneel and squat.\r\nAble to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.\r\nAble to work with full use of both hands.\r\nAble to understand and follow verbal instructions.\r\nAble to work in heat over 80 degrees F.\r\nExposed to cleaning products, laundry products and chemicals.\r\nAble to work exposed to natural elements (wind, sun, rain, heat, cold).\r\nAble to go up and down stairs with and without carrying items.\r\nAble to stand and walk for long periods of time.\r\nAble to work with protective eyewear, latex gloves.\r\nEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
