Load trucks by placing materials in designated trucks for distribution.\n2. Removing/rotating materials and equipment in designated production areas.\n3. Rotate stock and equipment on a timely basis and in accordance with established procedures.\n4. Keep production area clean, neat, and safe.\n5. Transport materials and equipment to appropriate departments and locations including waste and salvage (via truck).\n6. Use of equipment as trained and/or certified.\n7. Refilling of hangers at hangers stations in textile production area.\n8. Maintain well-groomed appearance and appropriate dress code including name badge.\n\nADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES\n\n1. Assist in textile and miscel power hour process per established procedure.\n2. Responsible for performing their assigned duties within the framework of our Core Principles.\n3. Attend in-service and related training as assigned by Team Leader.\n4. Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Lead and Production Team Lead.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES\nThe list below is representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability utilized while performing this job.\n\n1. Ability to adhere to the Organization's Core Principles\n\n2. Knowledge of retail and/or stock handling.\n3. Ability to react calmly and react to emergency situations.\n4. Ability to listen and following directions.\n5. Ability to stand for long periods of time.\n6. Knowledge of shoe brands and current trends.\n\nEducation and/or Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous material handling experience is preferred.\n\nMath Ability:\nLevel 1: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.\n\nAbility to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.\n\nComputer Skills:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have beginner knowledge.\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.\n\nPurchasing Authority:\nNo Purchasing Authority\n\nSPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT\n(e.g. physical or environmental requirements, irregular work schedule, required license or certification, background check)\n\nPhysical and Environmental Requirements:\n1. Regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.\n2. Vision abilities required by this job include: close, distance, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.\n3. Standing and walking for long periods of time.\n4. Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, push and pull.\n5. Sufficient mobility to turn from side to side and the ability to lean and remove items from containers.\n6. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic).\n\nLanguage Ability:\nLevel 2: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.\n\nReasoning Ability:\nLevel 2: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
