This role combines senior-level enterprise application development with hands-on design and implementation of AI capabilities, including LLM-powered applications and autonomous AI agents that enhance and automate business workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect, design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, production-grade applications using C#, .NET, .NET Core, and modern application frameworks.Design, integrate, and deploy AI-powered applications and agentic solutions that automate tasks, reason over enterprise data, and enhance user workflows.Develop AI solutions using Azure practices throughout the application and AI development lifecycle.Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP-based services and APIs with enterprise and third-party systems.Participate across the full SDLC, including architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and documentation.Evaluate emerging AI and software development technologies and identify opportunities to improve engineering efficiency and business processes.Required QualificationsDeep, hands-on experience developing production applications using C#, .NET, and .NET Core.Proven experience building or integrating AI/LLM-based solutions, including prompt engineering, RAG, function/tool calling, and model APIs such as Azure OpenAI or OpenAI.Hands-on experience developing AI agents or agentic workflows, including planning, tool execution, context management, and multi-step task orchestration.Experience with AI/agent frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, Microsoft Agent Framework, AutoGen, LangChain, or comparable technologies.Strong experience developing applications and services within Microsoft Azure, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, and Azure DevOps.Strong experience with Azure SQL and T-SQL, including database design, stored procedures, user-defined functions, security, and performance considerations.Familiarity with vector search and data technologies such as Azure AI Search and Cosmos DB.Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, Git, branching strategies, and release management.Proficiency with Visual Studio and/or VS Code.Strong understanding of the complete software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, security, and documentation.Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs, web services, and SOAP APIs.Demonstrated technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, architectural decision-making, and establishment of development best including document analysis, summarization, intelligent automation, copilots, or workflow orchestration.Experience supporting applications, systems, or databases within legal, financial services, or HR environments.Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.Experience with modern client-side frameworks such as React.Experience supporting legal technology, including document management systems, legal workflows, or onboarding applications.Working knowledge of Responsible AI, including model evaluation, guardrails, content safety, monitoring, and AI cost/performance
