This is a 3rd shift position with the opportunity for hire.\n\nMachine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:\n\nOperate and monitor production machinery to maintain consistent product output and quality.\nMaintain proper production flow by identifying and addressing upstream and downstream issues.\nSupply raw materials to machines and ensure continuous operation.\nPerform equipment changeovers according to standard procedures.\nInterpret production schedules and communicate any delays or issues to leadership.\nAccurately complete production, downtime, and quality documentation.\nFollow all Quality Assurance standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).\nEnsure compliance with food safety standards, including GMP, SQF, and HACCP guidelines.\nIdentify raw material or production defects and take corrective action.\nConduct visual and basic quality inspections during production runs.\nPerform minor machine adjustments and troubleshooting.\nComplete daily and weekly preventive maintenance as required.\nMaintain equipment cleanliness and operational readiness.\nAdhere to all workplace safety policies and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).\nMaintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with sanitation standards.\nParticipate in safety initiatives and comply with all regulatory requirements.\nWork cross-functionally with production, quality, and maintenance teams.\nSupport training and onboarding of new employees when needed.\nCommunicate effectively regarding production performance and equipment issues.\n\nMachine Operator Requirements:\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.\n1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.\nExperience in high-speed beverage or food production environments strongly preferred.\nAbility to operate and troubleshoot industrial machinery independently.\nBasic math and measurement skills (metric and imperial systems).\nAbility to read gauges, thermometers, and production data.\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\nAttention to detail and accuracy in documentation.\nEffective communication and teamwork.\nHigh level of safety awareness.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.\nFast-paced manufacturing environment with moving machinery.\nExposure to varying temperatures (hot and cold) and high noise levels.\nRequired use of hearing protection and other PPE.\nAbility to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs.), push/pull, and perform repetitive motions.\nFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime as needed.\n\nIND124\n\nAbout us:\nQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
