For over 20 years, LER has partnered with customers across North America to meet their engineering resource challenges.Learn more about us: https://www.linkedin.com/company/ler-techforce/life/9e3c2a5c-579d-4526-b79f-2bf63a79bedd/ What you will be doing: Design, develop, integrate, and validate AUTOSAR-based component-level control software for Air Handling, Combustion Controls, and Fuel Systems Develop and maintain control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink following model-based design best practices. Write and maintain component-level software requirements aligned with system technical profiles and engineering change requests. Update and maintain System Technical Profiles, ensuring traceability between system requirements, software components, models, and test cases. Develop AUTOSAR Classic application software components (SWCs). Collaborate with architecture and BSW teams to support ECU integration and production release readiness. Lead MIL and SIL verification activities and perform HIL validation to ensure real-time performance and hardware compatibility. Develop component-level diagnostics and fault management strategies compliant with quality and regulatory standards. Support ASPICE compliance, audits, and documentation for software releases. Work cross-functionally with systems, hardware, calibration, validation, and global software teams. What you'll need to be successful: Essential: Strong experience in component-level controls software development. Proven experience writing software requirements aligned with system technical profiles. Advanced proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink Hands-on experience with MIL, SIL, and HIL testing methodologies. Working knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic application software development. Solid understanding of air handling, combustion, and fuel system controls. Preferred: Experience with ECU software integration. Experience supporting ASPICE compliance and software audits. Exposure to combustion modeling or virtual sensing techniques.
