Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – UZB Freight Inc (Crest Hill)

UZB Freight Inc is a fast-growing trucking and logistics company focused on efficiency, fleet expansion, and long-term profitability. We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with experince to help scale our financial operations and support strategic growth. Position Overview The CFO will oversee all financial aspects of the company, including financial planning, cash flow management, reporting, and strategic decision-making. This role is critical in optimizing profitability and supporting expansion. Key Responsibilities Manage company financials, including P&L, cash flow, and forecasting Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost control Monitor revenue per mile, fleet performance, and operational KPIs Manage relationships with banks, lenders, and factoring companies Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and reporting requirements Support growth strategy, acquisitions, and capital investments Work closely with CEO/ownership on financial decisions Qualifications Proven experience as CFO or senior finance leader (preferably in trucking/logistics) Strong understanding of transportation financial metrics (RPM, cost per mile, etc.) Experience with factoring, fuel programs, and fleet financing Knowledge of FMCSA and transportation compliance is a plus Strong leadership and communication skills CPA or Finance degree preferred What We Offer Competitive salary + performance-based bonus Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding company Key leadership role with direct impact on business success How to Apply Send your resume or message directly on LinkedIn or email Email: Phone: ext 404
