This is a hands-on role for someone who loves video, moves fast, and wants to learn what it looks like to build content at a growing startup.You'll work directly with our head of production, Brett, on video editing and post-production. You'll also help manage our social media posting schedule across Instagram, LinkedIn, and other channels.This is 20 hours a week, in person, in our River North office. Pay is $20–$25/hour depending on your skills and experience.Primary responsibilitiesEdit short-form and long-form video content under the direction of our head of productionAssist with color correction, audio cleanup, captioning, and export formattingOrganize and manage raw footage and project filesSecondary responsibilitiesMaintain and execute our social media posting calendarSchedule content across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTubeFlag opportunities to repurpose video into social-ready clipsWhat we're looking forExperience with video editing software (Premiere Pro)Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling toolsStrong attention to detail and a good eye for pacing and storytellingAbility to work independently and manage time across multiple projectsCurrently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in film, media production, marketing, communications, or a related fieldBonus points forExperience with Canva or FigmaKnowledge of short-form video trends (Reels, Shorts, TikTok)Any prior work with brand or marketing contentWhat It's Like Working HereAt Rowan, good ideas win, no matter where they come from.
