This is a TEMP to HIRE opportunity. Stand-up Forklift experience REQUIRED! 1st shift: 7AM-4PM M-F. Pay: $19.00 per hour\r\nPrimary Function:\r\nSafely and efficiently unpack and stage Material for production\r\nFollow daily production schedule processing in concert with the set production schedule\r\nKeep the production area stocked with raw materials and remove scrap as needed.\r\nInteract with management, customer service, sales, warehouse and all other department in a respectful, helpful, and professional manner while performing daily responsibilities\r\nPrimary Responsibilities:\r\nAssess daily schedule and work with the Production Scheduler and Production Supervisor to plan and staging materials\r\nCommunicate to the Production Supervisor any inventory adjust needed to meet the production schedule\r\nStage packaging material, per the production schedule; returning it to finished goods inventory once completed\r\nMove stock, or other materials from warehouse or stagged area to production areas\r\nSafely operate various equipment including, but not limited to stand-up forklift, handheld scan guns and computers\r\nPerform Inventory transactions through the WYSIS or ERP system to reflect the physical movement of inventory (including corrugated)\r\nWhen moving material in and out of production, verify the accuracy of the quantities, labels, and part numbers against inventory and production information\r\nEnsure that the material required for the next day's production is staged in the WIP Area or at Equipment for the start of the next shift\r\nTroubleshoot stock placement issues and work with the Production Supervisor to rectify them\r\nSafely and effectively utilize various equipment including stand-up forklifts, motorized pallet jacks, banding machines and shrink wrapping machines, etc.\r\nShut down and return all equipment used to the appropriate location at the end of each shift\r\nEnsure that the assigned equipment is properly inspected before use and any maintenance needed is accurately recorded on logs\r\nIdentify machinery in need of inspection, servicing, and maintenance\r\nAlert Management of any unsafe conditions or activities in or around the facility\r\nMaintain a clean work area by cleaning equipment, and sweeping in accordance with daily and weekly housekeeping standards\r\nBe flexible and provide backup to other functions as needed\r\nPosition Requirements:\r\nMust have stand-up forklift certification\r\nHigh school diploma or GED desired, some college or continuing education strongly preferred\r\n2-4 years previous warehouse, logistics experience required\r\nHighly effective organizational skills and the ability to be detail and process oriented\r\nStrong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Starship or other related shipping software, and ERP software experience desired\r\nExperience with WYSIS or scan guns strongly desired\r\nWorks independently, with little direction\r\nExcellent judgment (problem solving) and the ability to build trust and collaborative relationships with colleagues and customers\r\nWorks well under pressure and can operate successfully in a very fast paced working environment\r\nAbility to lift and handle cartons weighing in excess of 50 pounds consistently throughout the day\r\nWillingness and ability to work overtime as needed\r\nAbility to fill in for people that are absent\r\nDependable - Arriving on time, with good overall attendance, and reliable transportation\r\nCooperative - Pleasant towards others on the job and a cooperative attitude\r\nInterested and qualified candidates are encouraged to submit an up-to-date resume today!
