Provides prompt customer service to team members with frequent interaction in person, by phone and by electronic communications. Will be assigned functional responsibilities and provide support to other HR team members on larger program initiatives. Proactively promotes The McWane Way principles, values, and behaviors and lives the Compass Culture.\n\nGeneral Duties and Responsibilities\n\nProactively exhibits and promotes The McWane Way principles.\n1st Responsibility - Ensuring personal safety and the safety of your team members.\nAssists supervisors and managers in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.\nWear appropriate PPE which may include fall protection, respiratory protection, hearing protection, foot, hand, head and eye protection.\nUses proper lifting and ergo techniques.\nOthers duties may be assigned.\n\nEmployee Engagement\n\nSupport and maintain good employee relations through employee engagement activities.\nExecutes employee activities designed to enrich morale and employee commitment by assisting in creating, planning and facilitating inspiring employee initiatives, events, perks and celebrations.\nDevelops, plans and manages special events which include pre-planning, problem-solving, logistics, directing event set-up, communicating with staff and organizing vendors and managing take-down.\nCompose Quarterly Newsletter\nFacilitate Compass Programs\n\nRecords Management\n\nMaintain hard copy and scanned copy personnel files and records in accordance with state and federal requirements and corporate guidelines, and the corporate retention policy.\nDistributes HR communications and maintains the HR Communication Boards.\nConducts and analyzes exit interviews for hourly team members and provides summary reports.\n\nDevelopment\n\nAssign Brainier training to applicable team members, monitor and record training.\nTrack and maintain training records related to HR training programs, such as, The McWane Way, leadership, etc.\n\nRecruitment and Outreach\n\nSupport recruitment efforts as assigned. May include individual recruiting assignments or support of other HR team members in performance of their role.\nAttend job fairs, school career fairs, and other talent sourcing opportunities.\nParticipate in outreach and workforce development activities.\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities\n\nThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.\n\nQualifications\n\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
