Senior Clinical Sales Training Manager
Job Description: leads development and execution of training initiatives for both external customer-focus education programs, and internal salesforce education programs
creates, promotes, and implements training programs in partnership with cross-functional teams and external experts
develop and continuously update Sales Training curriculum content in partnership with Marketing, R&D and Sales leadership
lead all sales training programs activities for in-person and remote new hires
collaborate with Sales Team to drive new account product introduction and evaluation
drive repeat sales through reinforcement of vascular disease-state knowledge, product messaging and clinical techniques
provide support, coverage, and gather feedback during initial new product evaluations
generate ideas for new training tools and programs that drive sales growth
gather feedback regarding marketing resources and provide clinical input to marketing for improvements to sales materials
demonstrate outstanding product knowledge
collaborate with VPs of Sales and Marketing to identify/implement sales model framework
develop and lead career and leadership development programs that assist in the readiness of Sales Team members to take on leadership / management roles
facilitate trainings such as: anatomy, procedure, our products, and competitor products
collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify customer-focused medical education needs
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field
a minimum of 8 years of experience in design and administration of training programs in the medical device industry
people management experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical fields
Clinical background (Cath lab technician, nurse, etc.) or strong medical device sales skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Excellent interpersonal, negotiating and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Experience with the demands of a sales workforce and healthcare professionals
Expertise providing direction for a team
Strong ability to multitask, be flexible, adaptable and manage time effectively
Self-motivated, organized, strong attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with a customer-driven focus and sense of urgency
Ability to work independently and prioritize activities and workload
Proven product knowledge in business area
