Financial Planning Associate

This position offers hybrid schedule after successful completion of introductory period.Position DescriptionThe Financial Planning Associate is a hybrid position, with both in-office and work from home time each week. This role supports financial planning processes and focuses on proactive client relationship management. You will work directly with senior financial advisors, clients, and prospective clients. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Financial Planning, and works closely with all departments within the organization.ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of the position include a cross-section of Financial Planning and Investment Managment, including but not limited to: Prospective Client SupportParticipate in prospective client meetingsGather data from prospective clientsAssist with sign-on and onboarding of new clientsSit in large meetings to assiste with note-taking when neededCurrent Client SupportPrepare analysis for clients, including but not limited to:retirement cash flow projectionsSocial Security income analysispension plan analysiseducation planningGather data from established clients to support analysis and planning needsCollaborate with supporting departments to ensure client needs are met around estate planning, tax planning, insurance and annuity needs, etc.Administrative SupportAnswer client and prospect questions and forward complex questions to appropriate parties within the firm’s established response time requirement. Prepare materials for prospective and current client meetings. Draft documents and correspondence for financial advisors. Take notes during prospective and current client meetings. Ensure all follow-up tasks and communications after client meetings are completed in a timely manner. Ensure accurate and timely task management within the CRM system. Fully utilize and keep up-to-date records and tasks for clients.
