Interns will be assigned to one of the following departments:\n\nAccounting\nActuarial\nBusiness Development (Sales)\nProperty and Casualty\nMedical Stop Loss\nBusiness Intelligence\nCaptive Finance\nClaims\nHealth Risk Management / Strategic Vendor Services\nInformation Technology / Cybersecurity\nMarketing\nProgram Management\nProperty and Casualty\nMedical Stop Loss\nRisk Control\nUnderwriting\n\nESSENTIAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree relative to a respective department and currently completing your junior year of college.\n\nSKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS:\n\nStrong team attitude\nWorks well independently and in a team environment\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nStrong skills in Microsoft Office, especially using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint\nOrganization, planning and prioritization skills\nCommitment to company values\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nResponsible for completing project-based work in a timely manner\nLearn and complete assigned day to day business responsibilities\nCommunicate effectively with team members\nAdapt to work in an office environment (Hybrid)\nWork with an assigned mentor to discuss team expectations and goals\nAttend department and other related training sessions throughout the summer\nParticipate in team meetings\nSelf-paced Kaplan Insurance courses\nPrepare and conduct weekly presentations\nCollaborate with other Interns\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
