This position is responsible for helping maintain a secure and professional environment during afternoon and evening operations while supporting staff, patients, and visitors throughout the property.This role requires strong situational awareness, professionalism, and the ability to respond appropriately to routine and emergency situations within a healthcare setting.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct interior and exterior patrols on foot or by vehicle as assigned Monitor CCTV systems, alarm panels, and controlled access points Verify identification and manage visitor access procedures Maintain visitor and contractor entry logs accurately Respond to disturbances, suspicious activity, alarms, or emergency situations Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in detailed written reports Provide courteous assistance to employees, visitors, and patients when needed Enforce property rules, safety procedures, and post instructions Observe for safety hazards or policy violations and report concerns promptly Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout the shift Minimum QualificationsMust be at least 18 years old Ability to pass all required background screenings Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-moving situations Dependable attendance and professional work ethic Comfortable working in a healthcare environment Required Certifications & Client RequirementsAll candidates must meet healthcare compliance requirements, including:Hepatitis B Vaccination TB Skin Test MMR Vaccination TDap Vaccination Varicella Titer Current Flu Vaccination Respiratory Fit Test ACT Training Certification Preferred QualificationsPrior security, healthcare, or customer service experience Familiarity with CCTV systems and access control procedures Experience writing incident or activity reports Strong observation and conflict de-escalation skills Work EnvironmentActive healthcare facility environment Combination of patrol activity and stationary monitoring assignments Frequent interaction with medical staff, patients, and visitors Afternoon and evening schedule requiring attention to detail and awareness What We OfferStable part-time schedule Professional healthcare work environment Ongoing operational guidance and support Opportunity to build experience within healthcare security services Consistent assignment with structured responsibilities Equal Opportunity EmployerCitadel Security USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
