This organization offers a complete range of doors, door hardware, and related products, serving commercial, education, healthcare, institutional, and industrial construction markets.\r\nThe Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, implementation, execution, control, and completion of assigned projects. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with established project standards. Experience with industry-specific software, including Comsense , is required.\r\nEssential Functions\r\nAnalyze construction schedules and develop schedules for submittals, material procurement, field labor durations, and overall project completion.\r\nCreate submittals for doors, frames, and hardware from architectural drawings and specifications.\r\nOrder materials through approved submittals to ensure timely delivery in accordance with construction schedules or contractor agreements for billed and stored materials.\r\nConduct field visits and walk active projects.\r\nCreate Schedules of Values for pay applications and submit to the General Contractor.\r\nManage electronic contractual changes including RFIs, pricing changes, and change orders.\r\nPrepare and price project changes as required.\r\nMinimum Qualifications\r\nHigh School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.\r\nMinimum of 5 years of related experience in the construction or building materials industry.\r\nExperience using Comsense preferred.\r\nAbility to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.\r\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\r\nProficiency in blueprint and plan reading and specification interpretation.\r\nStrong attention to detail with a deadline-driven and goal-oriented mindset.\r\nAbility to manage projects of varying scope and complexity.\r\nAccurate mathematical and analytical skills.\r\nWorking knowledge of industry-related software including Comsense, Microsoft Outlook, Office, Excel, Teams, and Bluebeam.\r\nStrong understanding of door, frame, and hardware applications related to UL listings, fire codes, building codes, ADA requirements, life safety, and other commercial construction regulations.\r\nExcellent verbal communication skills and positive interpersonal abilities.\r\nWork Environment\r\nThis position operates primarily in a professional office environment and regularly utilizes standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and filing systems.
