Test Assistant (SSD)

Job Summary: Test products by performing the following duties with close supervision. Job Duties: Job duties include the following: Test subassemblies and/or final products for operational reliability following test procedures. Test sensor cables for performance Inspect work and maintain record of time spent on various jobs. Perform basic department duties as required when supervisor is not present. Some outdoor product testing will be required. Other duties as assigned Skills/Experience: Ability to follow written and verbal test procedures. Ability to learn and properly use electronic test equipment. Education: High School Diploma or GED. Physical demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to perform bench work (seated and standing) of a repetitive nature Manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination to operate small equipment or tools safely Requires periodic work outside in extreme weather conditions Applicants must successfully pass a drug test and background screening.
