Join the Snowflake team.\n\nOur Solution Engineering organization is seeking an Analytics Architect who can provide hands-on expertise and support while working with technical decision makers to design and architect analytical solutions built on the Snowflake Data Cloud.\n\nThis is a strategic role that works closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and the broader field organization to ensure successful execution and customer adoption of Snowflake’s solutions.\n\nIN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GET TO:\n\nConvey the strategic advantages and technical application of Snowflake's Analytics capabilities, address client inquiries, and conduct follow-up engagements to facilitate sales progression.\n\nArticulate Snowflake's Analytics functionalities and provide a comparative analysis with competitor offerings for prospective clients.\n\nAscertain client-defined success metrics for the adoption and utilization of Snowflake's Analytics features.\n\nRecognize, address, and reconcile discrepancies between Snowflake's methodologies and client-specific requisites concerning Analytics features.\n\nProvide comprehensive resolutions to client objections and concerns.\n\nDevelop and deliver bespoke demonstrations that highlight Snowflake's value proposition, tailored to address specific client requirements pertaining to analytic functionalities.\n\nDemonstrate the ability to elucidate Snowflake's security, privacy, and governance considerations with respect to Analytics.\n\nBe the technical expert in the room that positions Snowflake’s analytical features and value to technical stakeholders at Snowflake’s customers across the Americas.\n\nFunction as the principal technical authority, articulating Snowflake's analytical functionalities and value proposition to technical stakeholders within customer organizations across the Americas.\n\nCollaborate with Snowflake account teams and customer advocates to define and execute Proof of Concepts, ensuring successful outcomes and demonstrable technical achievements that validate Snowflake's capabilities, including comprehensive executive summaries and business value assessments.\n\nDevelop and disseminate content to facilitate team and organizational growth, such as blog articles, conference presentations, and technical materials including notebooks and demonstrations.\n\nAct as the Voice of Customer by triaging Product gaps and communicating their priority to Product Management.\n\nDevelop sales programs with Product Marketing around GTM for Analytics features.\n\nON DAY ONE, WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:\n\n5+ years Data architecture experience\n\nCuriosity and drive to help companies leverage the Snowflake Data Cloud\n\nStrong presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences, whether whiteboarding sessions or formal readouts and demos.\n\nBachelor’s Degree required, Masters Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience preferred.\n\nKnowledge of and experience with large-scale database technology (e.g. Snowflake, Netezza, Exadata, Teradata, Greenplum, etc.)\n\nBONUS POINTS FOR EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING:\n\nExperience with other analytical tools, ie Dremio, Athena\n\nExperience with Iceberg\n\nExperience with Geospatial and/or Time series analytics\n\n1+ years of practical Snowflake experience.\n\nThe following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:\n\nThis role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's commission plan and it is common for employees in this role to receive total on-target earnings of $207,500 - $288,750. The estimated base salary for this role is $155,000 - $216,500.\n\nAdditionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s equity plan.\n\nThe successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
