This role involves designing and managing a robust cloud infrastructure that underpins our global operations while ensuring the security and reliability of our services.**Key Responsibilities** Collaborate with stakeholders to design an Azure cloud environment that integrates with our products and services. Create and submit technical designs that align with organizational objectives and secure stakeholder approval. Manage Azure accounts, develop Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), and implement services to meet business needs. Design a secure network infrastructure and establish associated security policies. Oversee the implementation and administration of Azure services, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures. Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure performance, security, and resource utilization. Create a cost-efficient cloud environment and monitor resource usage and costs. Collaborate with the Development team to securely deploy system changes. Coordinate access to cloud resources and manage account provisioning. Establish and maintain incident response protocols to safeguard operational services. Perform operations and administration, including patch management and configuration. Handle licensing and purchasing to support lab operations. Provide support to the Customer Network Operations Center (NOC) as needed.**Qualifications** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field. Over 10 years of experience in cloud service development and administration. Azure certifications are required; experience in DevOps and AI/knowledge-based solutions is preferred. Familiarity with hybrid cloud implementations and industrial control systems is beneficial. Strong knowledge of Azure storage, compute environments, and network/security controls. Proficient in monitoring cloud environments for security, performance, and cost control. Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to work independently and collaboratively. Experience in project management and leading complex assignments. Willingness to work across different time zones, with occasional travel required.
